I always plan on trying to read 1 book a month, and last month I finished a phenomenal book called The Almanack of Naval by Eric Jorgenson.
He is one of the greatest minds on the planet and has some exceptional content, so here are 10 Lessons I took from the book that I thought would also help you the most.
Wealth
Becoming wealthy is a learnable skill.
Creating wealth is more important than a status symbol.
Money is a tool that you exchange for products and services.
Wealth is created by providing value to society.

Specific Knowledge

This knowledge can’t be trained for in schools.
If it can be trained, you will be replaceable.

Leverage
It is hard to create incredible wealth by relying on a 9-5 job based on the amount you’re taxed.
It’s very difficult to become rich by simply renting your time. Time is a limited commodity.
Use leverage (labour, assets, money) to amplify your efforts.
Ownership of assets is the leverage to help build wealth and increase your earning potential.
Play Long-Term Games With Long-Term People
Compounding works in relationships, businesses, or money.
You won’t be successful overnight.
Keep working on these important things that take time.
You’re trying to succeed over decades, not just in days or weeks or months.
Play To You and Work For Others
Find what you love to do, and you will enjoy it.
When you are passionate about something, it is not a job anymore; it is a necessity.
What may seem hard to others is a delight and a source of motivation for you.

Happiness is Learned
It is a skill that you can develop.
We can learn to be happy and focus on the present and more important things.
Happiness is when you remove the sense of something missing in your life.
Life is a Single-Player Game
We do things in life to get validation from our parents and society.
The reality is that you were born alone and are going to die alone.
Your interpretations and memories are alone.
Before you showed up, nobody cared. It’s all single-player.
Be Yourself
Life is about being yourself.
We try hard to mold ourselves into society to get validation.
The goal of following your curiosity with specific knowledge is to be yourself.
This is why content creation is a lucrative career path.
Peace From The Mind
We need peace from the mind, not just peace of mind to be happy.
Anxiety and overthinking come when the mind isn’t at rest.
Peace from the mind comes by consuming information that creates the right habits.
Your internal state reflects your life.
Freedom
The number one reason people want to become wealthy is to be free.
The freedom is to have control of your time.
Freedom shifts from “freedom to” to “freedom from.”
Freedom is internal. It’s freedom from reaction, feeling angry, and being sad.
